The benefits of sugar cane juice.

When I was a child, I was introduced to sugar cane through my father from Barbados. On the way home after school, we would drive down Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn and stop at a street vendor to pick up some sweet sugar cane. "I loved loved loved me some sugar cane." My dad would cut it up into cubes and place it in the fridge to get cold while I changed out of school clothes—one of my favorite childhood memories.
